The Eurovision Song Contest

As part of the Eurovision Song Contest digital team I work across a number of content activations while on site in both Liverpool for the 2023 Live Shows and Malmö for the 2024 Live Shows. My responsibilities in the weeks leading up to the event and while on-site included:

• Working with a copywriter and video producer to research and produce a series of long form video content, with the contestants from each competing country. Including the conceptualisation of 37 different games, prop sourcing and cue card creation for each one.
• Management of high profile on screen talent while on site.
• Copywriting of live broadcast social content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok across 3 live shows within 6 days.
• The creation and management of a master strategy document used by the social, photography, video and website teams to assist in planning and executing on-site content.
• Working with an edit team and managing a content publisher to ensure all content is approved and published according to the pre-planned schedule and problem solving any delays or clashes.
• Assisting the editor of The Official Eurovision Podcast by producing digital content to promote new podcast episodes across Eurovision's social channels.
• Overseeing the delivery of any assets and content to external brand partners
